The device wirelessly connects to the user's iPhone or Android via the TrackR app. The TrackR app monitors the location of the user's items and enables users to find any item in 3 swipes or less.

Phone Halo Application Features and Functionality:
Phone Halo supports Android and iOS operating systems that support Bluetooth 4.0 and on Android and Apple phones and tablets with Bluetooth 4.0 hardware support. The application will initially support iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch (5th Generation), iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini, Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Note 3. Additional Handsets will be added with Android 4.3 Key Lime Pie support of Bluetooth 4.0.
